Mentoring
WHAT I DO
Knowing when to coach, when to be an independent sounding board and when to advise is all part of mentoring, especially when working with entrepreneurs, owner-drivers and small dynamic businesses.
I have found that, when working with people in my own area of business experience, discussions quite often end up being a blend of both coaching and mentoring. This works well, as long as it is what you need and expect.
AS YOUR MENTOR
I can act as a sounding board, an advisor and confidant.
I can provide honest, constructive feedback in an environment built around your growth as a leader – the type of feedback that may not be possible or best received from your colleagues.
I help you learn from my mistakes and avoid or learn from your own.
I can help you with confidence, especially when growing into your new role or directorship.
We can focus on any short-term results, while also holding and growing your long-term vision/strategy.
We can practise and prepare for meetings, key calls and presentations.
We can work on leadership and teamwork skills.
I can champion you and be an effective resource.
We can train your communication practices to be more open, inspiring and effective.
